COST

We don’t believe money should ever be a barrier to accessing the therapy you need.

£10 per session with one of our counselling students, who are in the final stages of their studies. Our student counsellors, are as varied as our clients. Sessions are payable in advance, therefore your first session will be £20. All sessions are payable in advance via PayPal or bank transfer more than 24 hours before your appointment.

£35 per session with one of our qualified counsellors, who have a variety of knowledge and experience. All sessions are payable in advance via PayPal or bank transfer more than 24 hours before your appointment.

We are a non grant funded and non NHS funded organisation.

Professional Service

Our service is managed by highly experienced therapists. All therapists within the service: student to experienced are all members of relevant professional bodies and uphold the ethical standards required to work as therapists.

If you have concerns about your therapist, SM want to try and resolve your concerns as quickly as possible. You can also contact your therapists professional body, just simply ask in the office which body they are a member of.

Next Steps…

Once you decide to get in touch, Joanne or Patrycja will ask you a few questions over the telephone about why you have decided to book in for counselling. This ensures that we place you with the best therapist to meet your needs, on a day and time to suit you. This will take about 10-15 minutes, so make a cup of tea and find somewhere quiet and comfortable to sit.

Following your mini telephone assessment, you will then be placed on the waiting list and as soon as an appointment becomes available it will be offered to you. Sometimes it can be hard to predict when an appointment is likely to become available because we don’t limit the number of sessions you can attend however, we won’t have forgotten you.

Online Therapy Useful Documents

Now that we offering online therapy we have included below some useful guides to help you install and become familiar with the technology that we are using. We have chosen a platform called Vsee, which although similar to Skype or WhatsApp is far more secure.

Ordinarily we would seek your written permission to hold your personal data in accordance with GDPR, however in light of the current Covid-19 restrictions, by accessing our service, paying and engaging in appointments you are in agreement and therefore explicitly consenting to your personal information being processed in accordance with the details provided in this form.
